Baju baru Perdana Menteri

Original version:
================
There was once an emperor who ordered the royal dressmakers to make him a
beautiful gown that would surpass all gowns. The royal dressmakers, made a
mistake when cutting the expensive material for the gown. Fearful that they
would be thrown into the dungeons if they could not come up with
something that would please the king, they decided to concoct a tale of
making the gown out of "the most beautiful material in the world, BUT which
only the *smartest* and *most learned* people can see".
And so the 'gown' was made. And the emperor paraded around in it. All the
emperor's men, when asked to comment on the gown, saw nothing but the naked
emperor. However, being fearful of being branded ignorant and unfit to be
in their positions, they all agreed that it was the most beautiful gown
that they had ever seen. And they heaped praises upon praises on the beauty
of the gown.
All until one little boy saw the naked emperor in the parade, and shouted,
"Hey, the emperor's got no clothes on!"
All at once, everyone, including the emperor, realized how foolish they had
been.

Contemporary Malaysian version:
===============================
Once upon a time there was an leader who was cloaked in an air of self
confidence. All the officials who paraded with him, agreed that the cloak
was the most beautiful thing that they had ever seen. To say that it was
not the most beautiful would have made them look disrespectful, maybe even
incurred the leader's wrath and caused them to lose favour with the leader.
After all, _all the other officials_ were saying that it was indeed the
most beautiful cloak in the land.

Now, where is that little boy when we need him.

However, what would happen if the leader _refused to acknowledge_ that
the 'cloak' was NOT 'the most beautiful cloak'?
Would the officials similarly refuse to acknowledge, but instead scream at
the boy,"Disloyal! Traitor! "

Would the little boy be sent to the dungeons, or be exiled?

Adakah tukang penipu berada di sisi Perdana Menteri?

Perlulah PM yang bijaksana untuk mendeka jawapannya... :P
